LYNGEN EXPERIENCE LODGE

As you unwind, immerse yourself in a good book or listen to calming music to further enhance your relaxation. Lyngen Experience Lodge is located all by itself in fantastic surroundings. Facing the fjord and with pristine mountains as a background, you get the ideal experience of Norwegian nature and the Arctic environment.
The lodge consists of 9 double rooms, a total of 18 beds, which has its own bathroom. In the living room you have a great view of the fjord, where both boating and wildlife appear on the outside of the living room window. A hot sauna and an outdoor jacuzzi can also be enjoyed in our Spa area - and if you are really tough, you can swim in the sea right down by the shore.
Local ingredients at their best
We serve homemade seasonal food, with local ingredients. Our skilled chef adapts the menu according to what ingredients are in season when you visit us - and is happy to let seafood play the leading role. Fishing is an important part of Northern Norwegian tradition, which is often reflected on the plate. We also want to give you a taste of what sprouts and grows locally - such as fresh and rich root vegetables.
If you have any special meal requesters, our chef is more than happy to prepare special meals to make a great stay for everybody.
The table settings are also a pleasant and social meeting point. We hope that you as a guest will enjoy both the food and the company around the table.
The bar also serves local products, such as whisky, vodka, gin, aquevit and liqueur from the world's northernmost distillery, Aurora Spirit.

Located 85 km north-east from Tromsø, the possibilities for transport are many. Whether you want to arrive by car, boat or helicopter, the journey offers an experience in itself.
